20 April 2024 session: Self expression- how to engage in conversation

Trainer: Cathy Glover

In this session we will explore ways to support speaking skills. We will explore the use of different strategies to develop students’ confidence and enable them to talk about what matters to them and allows the students’ voice to be heard. We will look at ways of differentiating activities for mixed ability classes and explore the teaching skills we need to get the best out of our learners. We will have a special focus on activities that are appropriate to students everyday life and seamlessly link with other skills so that learning is cohesive and holistic in its approach.
