Join and discover tried and tested mobile friendly digital tools used in the ESOL classroom. Tools which promote independence, collaboration, without the usual possibilities of shared physical resources, but also help to reduce teachers’ preparation and marking time, allowing students to concentrate on what really matters - personalised, self-directed learning.
The session is designed with recent classroom examples of how technology can be integrated into face-to-face teaching and learning in ESOL due to hygiene restrictions.
Sylvia Ashton and Cathy Clarkson: Managing the stress of the hybrid ESOL classroom: hints, tips and space to vent
A chance to digest the input so far with a quick round up of our highlights and hints and tips for hybrid teaching followed by fifteen minutes in chat rooms (or a screen break if you need to put the kettle on!)
