Designed to support new and experienced teachers of ESOL within the post-16 sector, ‘Teaching ESOL in the Post-16 Sector: Develop your practice (Level 5 module)’ gives participants confidence to:
• analyse the English language needs of their ESOL learners
• plan teaching and learning activities to develop learners language awareness and the four English language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Particularly relevant for those with no previous Level 5 subject specialist training, the course starts on 3 October 2023 and is delivered as two-hour interactive sessions, once a week, for 10 weeks.
