CfBT in association with LLU+ & LSBU and University of Sunderland are organising two half day participative seminars in November.
What will these seminars focus on?
• These seminars will focus on good practice in teaching literacy, numeracy/mathematics and English language to adults in low skilled employment.
Who are these seminars open to?
• These seminars are open to managers, teaching staff, employers and all those with an interest in what works in the challenging field of workplace learning.
Who is presenting?
• Providers, employers and learners saying what worked for them and why
• Academic researchers from Institute of Education and/or University of Sussex
• Professor Alison Wolf who leads the government review of vocational education
• Skills Funding Agency (Newcastle) and London Development Agency representatives
Cost:
These seminars are FREE and will include a networking lunch following the seminar
