ELTwell Autumn workshops

ELT well is offering a range of workshops and resource days for language teachers. These address issues in language teaching that are rarely covered elsewhere and consist of in-depth discussions, and demonstrations of approaches that could be taken. Events will be held in Lancaster at the Penny Street Bridge Hotel. The workshop titles are: - Assessing ESOL / EAL students for dyslexia - September 24th and December 6th - Including language learners with dyslexia - October 8th - Principles of language test design - October 15th - Teaching ESOL/ EAL to ‘beginners’ - November 5th - Using corpora in language teaching - November 19th ELT well is offering a monthly ‘Bring and Share’ Resources Day. These are opportunities for teachers to pick each other’s brains about the best materials and techniques to use for different aspects of language teaching.
