'Our Lives Series' two new titles

November 23 2009 saw the launch of 'Achieving Against the Odds' and 'Never Give up' two new books in 'Our Lives Series'. The first five titles in the Our Lives series, written by women from Somalia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam and the Canary Islands about their experiences of living in Britain, were published several years ago. But in 2007, with the help of a grant from Get London Reading, a competition was run to encourage students of English to tell their own stories.
