Consultation event: Is the On-line Skills for Life core curriculum fit-for-purpose to support employability skills development? An invitation to take part in a national consultation event for practitioners working in a variety of settings delivering one or more of the following: - Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) with links to employability programmes -LLN and using the on-line curriculum http://www.excellencegateway.org.uk/page.aspx?o=sflcurriculum - Employability training. We hope that you will be able to join the group, or to recommend someone else from your organisation who - is acquainted with the adult literacy, numeracy and ESOL core curricula or the pre-entry curriculum framework - has an interest in the development of employability skills We would like to consult with you on - the relevance of the on-line adult literacy, numeracy and ESOL core curricula and the pre-entry curriculum framework to the development of employability skills - how you are currently using the on-line curricula to support the development of employability skills - how the on-line tool could be further enhanced to support the delivery of employability skills Please visit the online core curricula at http://www.excellencegateway.org.uk/page.aspx?o=sflcurriculum The event will be held on 8th October 2009, from 10.00am -1.00pm, at LLU+, London South Bank University, Pocock House, 235 Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1 0AA. Travel and subsistence expenses can be claimed.
