Functional skills countdown events

QCDA is running a series of events from September to November 2009. You will find out about: - training and support available for centres from the Functional Skills Support Programme - awarding organisations offering functional skills qualifications this year - the latest on functional skills and 14-19 reform from Education Minister Iain Wright MP - the infomation we need from you to help us develop functional skills qualifications for use from September 2010 Dates and locations Wednesday 23 September - Manchester Friday 25 September - Leeds Thursday 8 October - London Friday 9 October - Birmingham Tuesday 13 October - Norwich Thursday 15 October - Bristol Wednesday 21 October - Newcastle-upon-Tyne Friday 23 October - Birmingham Tuesday 3 November - Nottingham Thursday 5 November - London There are separate morning and afternoon sessions on each date.
