This interactive workshop will look at how ESOL learners and their teachers can get their voice heard in Parliament.
Forum attendees will get a full overview of how UK Parliament works for them:

• How can they get their voices heard by MPs? 
• What does the House of Lords do? 
• How do MPs and Lords raise issues on their behalf?

Gary will also discuss how MPs and Parliamentarians can support ESOL learners, as well as providing information on how to empower your ESOL learners on how to engage with UK Parliament, making it accessible for everyone.


As Senior Education and Engagement Officer Gary Hart holds workshops in schools and community groups across Scotland discussing the role of UK Parliament and how people can have their voices heard through campaigning and engaging with parliamentarians.
