The generic principles of phonics from sound to print & print to sound.
What we’re trying to achieve with phonics (and everyday morphology)  in ESOL. 
Then a look at these two questions about ESOL activities:
Do some old favourites work better with phonics than others? 
Are there some new activities which might become favourites? 

 

 

BIO

Tricia trains teachers, support staff, vocational and community educators around the world in shame-free, engaging and comprehensively age-appropriate phonics which gets teen and adult learners ‘unstuck’. She is the creator of That Reading Thing (TRT) and its approach to spelling which combines phonics and everyday morphology to improve vocabulary across the curriculum.
