ESOL Events at IATEFL (Cardiff)- 4th and 5th April
Professor Charles Alderson from Lancaster University will be our keynote speaker. Charles is an expert in the field of language testing and has been involved with the development of the Common European Framework. He was the Scientific Co-ordinator of the EU-funded DIALANG project, a computer-based language assessment tool. We also have contributions from colleagues from Scotland, Wales and England. We look forward to reflecting on what these national and international approaches tell us about current practice. There will also be plenty of opportunity to exchange views on how local delivery might be informed by practice in different countries.
