New look membership packages
We’re making some changes to NATECLA’s membership structure to make our membership categories clearer, simpler and more reflective of the different needs and circumstances of our members.
NATECLA Membership Structure Review
From 1 September 2026, NATECLA has introduced new membership categories for both organisational and individual members. The changes also include a new organisational tier and updated membership fees.
Organisational membership
Organisational Small – for third sector organisations with up to 2 FTE staff: £60 per year.
Organisational Standard – for organisations with up to 39 FTE ESOL staff: £180 per year.
Organisational Large– a new tier for organisations with 40+ FTE ESOL staff: £280 per year.
Individual membership
The current individual categories will be simplified into four clearer membership types:
Individual Full-time– £60 per year.
Individual Part-time / Associate– £40 per year.
Individual Concession– £25 per year.
Individual Supported– free for eligible members, for eligible members, including students, refugees and asylum seekers in their first yea
We hope the new structure will make it easier to understand which membership category is right for you or your organisation, while giving us greater flexibility to respond to the needs of our growing membership in the future.
