Nerissa Roberts wins national Excellence in Teaching Award

Congratulations to Nerissa Roberts, Curriculum Lead for Adult ESOL at Oldham College, who has won the Excellence in Teaching Award, sponsored by the Education and Training Foundation, at this year’s Get the Nation Learning Awards.

The award recognises Nerissa’s outstanding dedication to supporting learners— many of whom are refugees, asylum seekers, or adults- through inclusive, trauma-informed teaching that goes far beyond the classroom.
