The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, in partnership with NATECLA East of England, invites you to our hybrid half-day ESOL Conference. Please see the attached flyer for details.

Roots & Routes: Building Resilient Communities Through Language and Belonging - This year, we’ll explore key issues affecting ESOL learners and refugees, with practical insights and inspiring stories to empower both staff and learners.

Highlights include:

  • Creating resilient classrooms and empowering learners

  • Trauma-informed ESOL approaches and best practice examples

  • Signposting and support from external agencies

  • Learner voices and video case studies

  • National updates on Skills England and funding

The event will also include a discussion and Q&A session with updates from the Strategic Migration Partnership, the Department for Work and Pensions, and Cambridge Regional College - College of Sanctuary, along with inspiring learner stories, concluding with a free networking lunch.
