NATECLA are pleased to announce the publication of the latest edition of Language Issues, the part peer reviewed journal for language teaching professionals. Language Issues has a new editor, Naeema Hann who has taken over the position from Sam Shepherd.

NATECLA members have been emailed a copy of Language Issues Summer (31.1) which is included free as part of your annual membership. Please contact info@natecla.org.uk if you have not received this as we may not have your current email address.

If you are not currently a member of NATECLA you can join here for as little as £20 for individual membership.(Depending on whether you are employed part-time / full-time / unemployed / retired)

You will then receive the new edition of Language Issues which is packed with interesting articles such as:

  • Frameworks for good practice in working with volunteers from England and Scotland
  • ESOL teacher working conditions and professional development in England and Wales
  • Teacher training in a refugee community in Greece
  • Teaching ESOL literacies learners
  • Reflections on lockdown teaching and technology
  • Wellbeing for ESOL practitioners

The blog is a separate entity to both the Language Issues journal and NATECLA but can serve as a stepping stone before writers commit to something more formal in the Language Issues journal.The blog is a free resource for all ESOL practitioners.
