NATECLA official have a branch in the East of England

The NATECLA branch for the East of England met for the first time on 14th March 2018.

Thank you to all who attended this meeting and workshop in Norwich.  Almost 20 organisations from Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire attended, representing colleges, community learning, the NHS, private providers and charities including those dealing with refugees. A leading awarding organisation for ESOL also attended.

Delegates got the opportunity to network, discuss the challenges they face as providers of ESOL as well as to share some good news from their areas. Speakers included Susi Pearson from NILE discussing CELTA, DELTA & their online courses offer, Sarah Mount from Transform ELT discussing achieving excellence in inspections, and Branch Chair, Rachel Öner launching the branch and providing an update on the field of ESOL. Plans are now being put into action to run the next event and a regional conference in October.
