Year 2 of the PGCE Literacy or ESOL is aimed at those already teaching literacy or ESOL in the lifelong learning sector and are part qualified (e.g. City & Guilds 7407 stage 2, CELTA, TESOL Cert, DELTA).
Interviews for year 2 will be starting in December as a new pre-course module means that year 2 trainees will start in spring 2011.
If you wish to apply, you will need to do so through UKPASS. Go to www.ukpass.ac.uk and go to ‘Course Search’, then ‘Search for courses’. Use the keywords ‘PGCE Literacy or ESOL Institute of Education’, and our course should be the first one that comes up.
