The new Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills is Dr Vince Cable Tom Hayes MP is Minister of State for Further Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning and is responsible for further education, adult skills, Skills Funding Agency, skills strategy, lifelong learning, informal adult learning, apprenticeships, UK Commission for Employment and Skills, Sector Skills Councils, Workplace Training reforms, qualifications reform programme.
