Award in Preparing to Teach English in the Lifelong Learning Sector (Literacy and ESOL focus) (Level 4) This is an introductory programme and forms the first unit of the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English (ESOL) in the Lifelong Learning Sector. Successful completion leads to the Award in Preparing to Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS - Literacy and ESOL focus). Tuesdays 10:00 am – 4:00 pm from 29th January 2008 to 1st April 2008 Diploma in Teaching English (ESOL) in the Lifelong Learning Sector (Level 5) This programme is the next stage after the Award in Preparing to Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). The course, accredited by London South Bank University, will give you the opportunity of teaching both Literacy and ESOL practice classes at LLU+ and will enable you to become fully qualified. If you have already undertaken a teacher-training course but are not yet fully qualified, you may be able to join the programme at certain points, such as at the beginning of Semester 2.
