03 November 2006

The NRP is to launch a brand new e-bulletin. The free monthly service is intended to ensure stakeholders are kept up to date with news and key issues in the Skills for Life arena; reflecting on how these issues will affect LLUK Skills for Life project activity. Features include 'Out and about with LLUK', a diary of key industry events, and links to useful organisations as well as to the main NRP website. The National Reference Point for Skills for Life professional development (NRP) has been established to offer specialist information and advice to those intending to join the profession, existing teachers and learning support staff, as well as those with an interest in their development. Following regional consultations over the summer highlighting the issue, the NRP seeks to provide a much needed consistent, cohesive solution to the challenge of multiple discrete information points. The NRP website will be the main channel for the dissemination of SfL work to the sector and will be active January 07 http://www.lluk.org/nrp/index.html
