About the webinar

In this session we will look at the characteristics and contexts that give rise to multi-level language groups and the opportunities and challenges that teachers face. We will look at activities that work well and review the advantages and disadvantages of strategies to meet students’ individual needs, aka differentiation. This approach has become very popular and yet is not without its critics. We will explore what research has to say about differentiation and apply John Hattie’s meta-analysis on the most effective strategies to multi-level teaching.
