This session will explore digital skills in a holistic manner, and help you to discover and exploit your digital comfort zone and use that to embed digital skills. From the initial question of ‘When, where and why do we use digital skills in our everyday lives?’ to considering how we can be informed by Essential Digital Skills (EDS) to develop the digital skills of all of our learners.

We will also guide you as to what has been done both at a practical classroom level and research level, share some ideas on teaching digital skills (for life) and give you the opportunity to plan your own lesson. We believe that digital skills are for everyone (teachers and learners alike) and the foundation of the session lies on the 3 ‘C’s: confidence, competence and… you will find out the third by the end!

Note that whilst this session is not explicitly about EDS qualifications, EDSQ teachers may find it useful.

You can pay for membership at the same time to obtain the reduced webinar price. Alternatively, you can join NATECLA online here prior to booking your webinar place.
