This interactive webinar workshop for teacher trainers focuses on some of the challenges involved in supporting practitioners who work with ‘pre-entry’ or ’new to ESOL’ learners, for whom literacy may well be a key issue, and who may often be placed in mixed-level groups. As well as considering some of the issues from a teacher education perspective, we will highlight some useful resources, including the Education and Training Foundation’s New to ESOL material, developed by Learning Unlimited, including the Phonics for ESOL pack, Video Listening Resources, and Refugees New to ESOL pack. You will have a chance to explore the new resources and to discuss the challenges - and opportunities - of working in this area.

You can pay for membership at the same time to obtain the reduced webinar price. Alternatively, you can join NATECLA online here prior to booking your webinar place.

If you want to register multiple people or if you have any problems booking using the Findjoo booking system please email info@natecla.org.uk to book and pay.
