This is a practical session which will form a basic introduction to using Zoom as a learning environment for ESOL learners. 

We will: 

• demonstrate how to orientate learners around Zoom - discuss the importance of creating 'rules of the room'
• discuss how and when to use breakout rooms
• demonstrate how and what you can share with others 
• look at ways to keep it simple via chat, reactions and polls
• introduce some external platforms which complement Zoom 
• share how we have found Zoom so far, discuss challenges and potential solutions
