Woman’s Place Practitioners’ Workshops

Date posted: 25 March 2010

Woman’s Place Practitioners’ Workshops

In May 2009 the government set out its new strategy to ESOL in A New Approach to ESOL.

There are practical implications in A New Approach for the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) / Skills Funding Agency (SFA), ESOL providers, the voluntary sector and local authorities. These interactive training events for ESOL practitioners will provide the opportunity to hear about A Woman's Place approach to engaging women with language needs from settled minority ethnic communities. We will also discuss and explore the practical implications of A New Approach and A Woman's Place as part of workshop activities.
