NATECLA has members throughout the United Kingdom. Those joining NATECLA will be put in contact with the membership secretary of the branch nearest to them. Some have an active branch network and organise termly training events.
NATECLA takes part in the debate and responds to policy and other developments as they arise. Management Council define the NATECLA perspective and co-ordinate this response. We are very keen to draw on the expertise in our membership to help us to understand the issues and to respond appropriately. We would like to establish working groups for key themes as a way of enabling members with particular expertise or interest in an area to help to develop the NATECLA position and to inform the debate. Each group will have a chair and will meet or liaise by email. The work of the group will be shared with a wider audience through our newsletter and website, to give others a chance to offer suggestions and comments.
